Well, as usual for us our vacation (1wk) was too short. Our plans are to try for two weeks, maybe next
year! We had a Great Time here. "The Camp" "The Surroundings" were Excellent!!! This is a Beautiful
Location.

The cabin was so comfortable & relaxing. We've had a wonderful week, kayaking, swimming, & nodding off on the deck. The area is beautiful and it's been an adventure to explore! -- We couldn't find a local map in any of the stores or town offices & have had an amusing time finding places. It was definitely worth it though. Enjoy the cabin as much as we did, but make time to Ask the locals & head to Bigelow Preserve... Leaving with happy memories. M. Mackey M. The pictures and descriptions on the internet didn't start to touch on the treat a person is getting when renting here. What a place to go to get away from the day to day living. The cabin is so fully equipped with everything a person will need. The lawn-the flowers-the view!! The fishing was the greatest! Caught bass after bass!! cabin, the location, the view - everything was beyond
perfect. It was my very first trip up to Maine (while
my future husband has visited Maine many times before) and I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. The weather
was nothing but fun in the sun! The fishing was amazing (even though my future husband caught more fish than me!) but
this vacation was my very first time fishing & I caught 10 fishes! The cabin is everything that a cabin should be
& more. So to pretty much sum it up, the "Welcome to Maine" sign pretty much says it all: "The Way
Life Should Be" because this is the way life should be - PERFECT!! We hope to be back next year for another amazingly perfect vacation! Thank you so much for everything! Mike and Jenna V.
August, 2008 As we get ready to leave on a rainy Saturday, nothing can dampen what we have experienced on our vacation. Started with fishing from the dock. Make sure you see the guys at the fish hatchery at the south end of the lake. The NFL kicked of while we were here and were able to watch the games which was great. Went on a Moose Safari with North Country Rivers in Bingham. If you go, be sure to tell Gerry B his friends from NY sent you. A trip to Acadia is a MUST. The views are breathtaking. If you golf, Sugarloaf is also a must see. It's a bit pricey but totally worth the money for what you will see. You will travel up the Carrabasset River on your way there - a truly amazing little river that has many memories for us. We went on a hike to Moxie Falls which is also a must see. For the adventurous type, a white water trip down the Kennebec River with a North Country Rivers guide is something to behold. Wow, what a ride!! Of all the fun things we did, the cabin was the best part, a home atmosphere while on vacation. Pinkham's has great pizza and good prices on groceries. It really was the best vacation we have ever had! Thank

It has been yet another beautiful, completely relaxing
week for the Swahn family. Boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, reading, cards! Thank you for sharing your cabin
with us! Joe and Lorena are wonderful for rentals! Be sure to call them! Take an early evening and visit
Terri, have a Hot Stone massage -- you won't be dissapointed! Many fish were caught and enjoyed! We look forward to another visit. Thank you,

have had a fantastic week away from the "real world." Lots of time fishing, canoeing, sailing, swimming, and
moose hunting. Yes, we did see an elusive moose - third time lucky and it involved getting up a 5 am!! Well worth
it! Moxie Falls and a visit to the Embden Fish Farm were well
worth doing. The reception by staff at the fish farm was very welcoming and informative. Would definitely return
